There is little downtime with microneedling. Your skin should appear red and slightly swollen in your treatment areas for a few days following your treatment. Be careful to protect your newly treated skin from the sun by wearing SPF 30 or higher and staying indoors. After 24 hours following your treatment, you should be able to apply makeup. Within a few days, any redness will fade as your skin heals and generates new collagen and elastin, revealing smoother, brighter skin. Your skin will continue to rejuvenate in the days and months following your treatment and will continue to improve with each subsequent microneedling treatment.
